English Teacher

We are currently seeking a qualified teacher of English to join a dedicated, energetic and supportive team in a Worcestershire secondary school. The position is full time (however for the right candidate the school would be willing to accommodate part time), commencing September 2019 until at least December 2019 with the possibility of it extending beyond.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engaging, dynamic and confident English specialist with excellent subject knowledge of the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 curriculum. The successful applicant must have good interpersonal and presentation skills, be passionate about your subject and have the ability to inspire pupils and bring English to life!

Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers looking for a new challenge or newly qualified teachers at the start of your teaching career, however you must hold QTS.

To find out more about this or other local roles, please call Claire for an informal discussion.

We offer competitive rates of pay, in many cases above industry standard and you will receive continued support from your experienced personal consultant.

Academic Solutions are committed to safer recruitment, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, we expect every candidate to share this commitment. Assignments are subject to safeguarding and child protection screening in line with DfE polices, including right to work, employment history and enhanced DBS checks.

SEN Teaching Assistants

In collaboration with an all-through Birmingham special needs school, we have numerous opportunities for qualified teaching assistants who have a passion for positively contributing to the education and lives of children and young people with a wide range of cognition and learning difficulties.

We would be delighted to hear from enthusiastic and resilient teaching assistants, who are committed to the principle of inclusion and have the ability to engage and inspire pupils. The school caters for children and young people with a broad spectrum of needs and there are day-to-day and ongoing roles available throughout the school. If you have successful practical expertise of MLD, SLD, PMLD or SpLD and ideally hold a valid Team-Teach certificate, please contact Joanne to find out more and register your interest.
