Design and Technology (DT) Teacher – Food

We are working in partnership with a successful Worcestershire secondary school to appoint a qualified teacher of food and nutrition.

You must have a strong understanding of the food technology curriculum and the ability to deliver imaginative, engaging and practical lessons that will inspire and motivate Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils to be confident and proficient in the kitchen environment.

The post is full time, commencing in September 2019 and initially for two terms.

SEN Teachers – Primary and Secondary

SEN teachers are required for a Birmingham inner city special education needs school. The school is well funded with excellent facilities, where staff and parents work closely together to support pupils in the best way possible.

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed teachers with Qualified Teacher Status to join a dedicated team. As a SEN teacher it is vital that you are patient, understanding and compassionate. The role offers a variety of challenges, so it is very important you can react effectively and keep calm throughout.

Each class has between 6 – 10 pupils with on average one teaching assistant for every two pupils.

Children have a variety of needs including, ASD, MLD and PMLD. In some classes you will be required to assist children with physical disabilities and Down’s syndrome.

The school is an all through school with ages ranging from 4 – 18 years old. There are opportunities in both the primary and secondary phases: Key Stage 1 – 4.

Religious Education Teacher

RE teacher required for a forward thinking north Birmingham school. You must be qualified with either QTS or NQT status and have experience of teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4 in secondary schools. A positive attitude and excellent classroom management skills are key to be successful in this position.

A qualified teacher of science is required for a school situated in Worcester. The school has recently received a very good OFSTED report. The department boasts excellent facilities and are looking for a dedicated specialist to join their supportive team. A positive attitude and enthusiasm for teaching is essential.
